Visit traditional Christkindlmarkts (Christmas Markets), both big and small, where you can immerse yourself in the jolly atmosphere of the hosting town. Raise a mug of Glühwein (warm mulled wine) with new friends, sample a sizzling sausage—hot off the grill, and stroll among the inviting wooden stalls to maybe find a holiday gift or two for loved ones back home.
In Vienna walk in the footsteps of famous composers like Mozart or Strauss, visit one of over one hundred museums, visit Palaces, listen to great music in the famous Opera House, watch the Lipizzaner horses train at the Spanish Riding School.
